Providing Joy to Little One’s Battling Cancer

Did you know that there are approximately 15,780 children diagnosed with cancer in the United States each year? Here at McDyer Insurance Agencies, we are committed to building a better and healthier future for all. We all so believe in giving back to our community, as a result, we’ve dedicated this special campaign to target our effort to help provide supportive services to children who are bravely fighting cancer, and their families who care by them.

Go4theGoal is a wonderful organization who have made it their mission to make sure that children who are faced with this difficult journey have the proper care, support, and dreams for the battle ahead. Go4theGoal is founded by Dr. Richard and Beth Stefanacci after their oldest son, just 13 at the time, was diagnosed with Ewing’ Sarcoma, a rare form of bone cancer. Despite their son’s diagnosis, they found that they had all the necessary resources; financial stability, an army of family and friends at the ready, medical knowledge, and close proximity to a top treatment center. It immediately became apparent that very few families in their situation had all if any of these resources and they immediately began Go4theGoal to provide support for these families so that they can focus on what really mattered; caring for their child.

Go4theGoal works with over 100 hospitals across the country. Their unwavering mission is to improve the lives of children battling cancer by providing financial support, developing and implementing unique hospital programs, funding innovative research, and granting personal wishes. “Having one’s child live happy and healthy life is all we can ever want as a parent, we want to make sure that those family who is faced with these difficult circumstances know they are never alone on life’s most difficult journey.” – Mike McDyer Join us as we join Go4theGoal in their ongoing mission to provide hope and improve the lives of children battling cancer in our community.
